ABOUT ME


Dr. Rudi Hartono, S.S., M.Pd.
Hartono is a Ph.D of Translation Studies, an English lecturer of English Language and Education Department at Faculty of Languages and Arts of Semarang State University, Indonesia. He is also an English language consultant, translator and English textbook writer. He focuses on teaching English-Indonesian and Indonesian–English Translation (Theory and Practice), Academic Writing, Advanced Writing, Academic English, Translating and Interpreting, and Research in Education.
He got bachelor degree of English Language and Literature from Padjadjaran University Bandung, Indonesia), Master’s degree of English Education from Indonesia University of Education, Bandung and Doctoral degree (Applied Linguistics: Translation Studies from Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, Indonesia.
His research and interests are in translation studies and textbook writing.
